Stephen Douglas Wolfe is a singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, Americana, country, and rock & roll, inspired by artists like Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, and Elliott Smith, as well as Bon Iver and Jason Isbell. His journey began at 14, and by 20, he was touring with his band, Getaway Driver. In 2007, he released his solo debut, "Except for the Birds", as Cavaliers collaborating with Lawrence/KCMO artists. After a break, Wolfe moved to Syracuse in 2013, performing under his own name and gaining local acclaim with a handmade demo that made its way around town. His 2017 EP, "Quixotic Symphony" won Best Singer/Songwriter Recording at the Syracuse Area Music Awards. Wolfe has since released successful singles like the globally praised "Thoughts & Prayers". This October, Wolfe is reintroducing himself with the release of the "Beacons" EP, featuring newly remastered versions of selected songs spanning his career.
