Born in South London on August 12th 1994, August Twelfth is the son of Oscar-winning boom operator and sound engineer Colin Codner. Surrounded by music from an early age, he learned multiple instruments before developing his skills as a rapper, producer, singer and songwriter. Following a rebrand in 2014, August began releasing music as “August Twelfth” while developing his songwriting and vocal production skills in the USA. His credits include work with Viacom, K. Michelle, Trevor Jackson, Tinie Tempah, Stefflon Don, MORGAN, Lost Girl and more. As an engineer, he has worked with artists including Central Cee, Tion Wayne, Lady Leshurr and Jaz Karis. Blending contemporary R&B with pop influences, August has amassed over 2 million Spotify streams independently. His debut album *The Collection, Vol. 1* has surpassed 500,000 streams, while “Love Won’t Stand a Chance” reached Grenada’s Soul Top 20.
